YPCF congratulates Ian Dean on his award of an MBE in the Queens Birthday Honours 2017, for services to music. Ian has been a trustee since the establishment of YPCF and as a consultant has developed several new programmes that immerse children in orchestral music, including the Sinfonias programme – creating an orchestra for 8-year olds working alongside professional orchestral musicians and Orchestra Up Close
