This ground breaking series will be reaching 11,000 young people who would ordinarily have little access to live music - some for the first time ever!! FPO
The young musicians who make up the Foundation Philharmonic (FPO) are chosen from the foremost colleges of music throughout the United Kingdom. Since its formation the FPO has established a broad live music profile within music education and on the public concert platform with a fine list of recordings and performances to its credit. It has recorded on numerous occasions for the BBC and featured on the World Service, appeared in several broadcasts networked by Classic FM and guested on a number of European television and radio stations.
We are very privileged to have Sir George Martin CBE as Executive Producer for all our recordings.
